Billboard is reporting that Dave Matthews Band will be included on an upcoming compilation album that contains songs by artists that have influenced the band. The album will be released on a new series called "Spotlight Influences" and will be available exclusively in Target retail stores. The label, 180 Music , was initiated by CEO Jim Brandmeier.
The album will contain liner notes by each act explaining why they included the songs.
180 Music has released a couple audio samples of the upcoming compilation album. They include:
