The American Museum of Natural History in New York City will host it's annual Museum Gala on November 19th, 2009 and Dave Matthews is invited.

This year's event, hosted by Tom Brokaw, will feature a live performance by Dave Matthews.

"Proceeds go to the Museum’s essential operating support, which helps sustain the groundbreaking exhibitions and inspiring educational programs that communicate the wonders of the natural world and the universe to millions of visitors each year."

You can request a ticket, but the cheapest seat in the house is $1500.

Dave will likely stay in the city that week as he is scheduled with the band to perform on Saturday Night Live that weekend.
