Dave Matthews Band Encourages Relief for Haiti

On January 12th, Haiti was devastated with a severe earthquake which has left some 300,000 people homeless. Many are clustering in public places without food, clean water or sanitation.

Dave Matthews Band is encouraging you to consider making a contribution to one of the various established relief organizations working to assist efforts in Haiti.  DMB’s Bama Works charitable foundation will be assisting the aid efforts related to both immediate and long term needs created by the earthquake.

Another quick, easy way you can contribute to the Haiti relief efforts is by texting “HAITI” to 90999 to donate $10 to the American Red Cross.  The donations will appear on your cell phone carrier bill and 100% of the donation will go towards aid to Haiti.
